We have discussed the the habitats and the attributes that each animal would need and how they have adapted to their environment. We then made our animals out of playdough! Here’s some of our adaptations!

We have talked about how we have adapted to our climate and surroundings and discussed how plants adapt to their habitats.

Some of us looked at the Darwin website and played the Year 2 games and learnt how to look after virtual sunflowers!

Class 2 are the ‘Discoverers‘, hunting for the amazing plants that grow in their part of the world. They will see the similarities and differences between plants in different habitats, collect specimens and study them in simple experiments.
